Unfolding Cultural Heritage is an international cooperation project between the region of the Greater Accra and Salento. It provides for residencies and exchanges, training and co-design workshops, activities between experts of culture and artists, institutions, network and local communities; focusing on the reappearance of non-material and oral heritage, and on new narratives through the arts.
It represents the first piece of the collaboration between the society of artistic production and social promotion of Ramdom APS , with its head office being KORA – Contemporary Arts Center, in Castrignano De’ Greci (LE); Artlife Matters LGB , an organisation located in Accra (Ghana), which promotes art as the tool of social, cultural and economic development; and the Lecce Library and Museum Centre , in its headquarters of Museum of Castromediano and Bernardini Library of Lecce.
Specific goals:
- * Training and co-design on topics of interest;
- * Expansion of the cooperation network through the activation of networks of the partnership network;
- * Studies and research on the non-material heritage of territories and development of good practices for the emersion, dissemination and community engagement;
- * Artistic residence for the support of the dissemination activities inside of the cultural and educational institutions in Ghana;
- * Development of new projects.
